For almost two decades, FFIPP has organized an educational programme to allow students from all over Europe to spend time in Palestine to volunteer with a local organization, learn about history, and experience the realities of daily life in the occupied territories. The first week of the programme offers a condensed, locally guided geo-political tour in order to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the dynamics shaping current events.
This year, we are organizing a unique version of the program for educators, including lecturers, professors, and other related professionals to visit and do field research in Palestine.
Participant profile:
Applicants must:
Be educators based in Europe, including lecturers, professors, PhD students and other related professionals. Educators can come from any field of study and be affiliated with universities, colleges, high schools, or other learning institutions and organizations. Diverse professional titles will be considered.
Be proficient in English. The group and tour guides will communicate in English.
Have a demonstrated interest in Palestine.
Have little or no previous travel experience to Palestine.
Be willing to integrate their experiences and learnings from the seminar into their own teaching, research, and/or other projects.
Be available for the pre-trip contextualization and safety preparation sessions (online).

Program (might be subject to change)
Through the program curated by our Palestinian on-the-ground colleagues, participants will learn about the historical context of Palestine/Israel as well as get a glimpse into the daily realities of locals.
